Welcome to our School, Muire gan Smál, Castleisland,
Co. Kerry, a primary school catering for boys to 1st
class and girls to 6th class which was
opened by the Presentation Sisters in 1966 and
operates under the rules and regulations of the
Department of Education & Science.
At the moment there are 13 teachers and 4
ancillary staff. A
childcare facility (pre-school and afterschool) is
also provided in the school.
Ethos
Scoil Muire gan Smál is proud of its Catholic tradition
as handed down by the Presentation Order.
Our enrolment policy welcomes pupils of all
denominations, and all socio and linguistic
backgrounds.We are committed to protecting the well
being of all students and staff by providing a safe and
nurturing environment.
